How do you set up more than one account?

Just tread very, very carefully with what you list and when you do it. Be prudent about how you might appear to others looking at your account from the other side, and do so at your own risk."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

I'm happy with the listings, I'll just have to be a little less keen on listing all items at once. These freebie days certainly can be a bit of a con, I wonder how many others will be caught out?0 -

For a new account there are listing limits, I can't find what they are on an ebay search, but they are there. Just keep your numbers low and stay under the radar.I have 2 Paypal accs to 2 eBay accounts
Hopefully two different types of paypal accounts otherwise you run a big risk of getting them both suspended. We are only allowed one of each type of paypal account, that's why each paypal account can be linked to 8 different ebay ids.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I don't think eBay let people know what listing limits are, I think they prefer to use some discretion when it comes to monitoring sellers' activities and prefer not to let people try and game the system."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

my brain is mush I'm afraidbut there were proper limits published for new accounts I'm sure I didn't imagine it (although I mis remember a lot of things!)
EDIT. It is mentioned here Protecting yourself as a seller
... can do. Limits on new sellers. We sometimes limit the number of items that new sellers can list. Beyond the basics.
but then when you click on the link it doesn't mention it at all.

I just have this memory of ebay saying at the same time they brought in the 100 free listings a month that new selelrs would be capped below that limit.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. As far as I can see from seller posting on different forums, and from experience is 100 listing in 30 days, including active, sold and unsold listings.
If you sell designer stuff then there can be limits on specific brands regardless of how old the account is.
(PS it's very hard to find info and ebay will not answer questions on email/live chat, say the appropriate team will get back and never do, it's my experience and other people's - weird...)
Also ebay/pp can link IP addresses, and will link multiple account at the same address, particularly if one has limitations.0 -
