  • I saw the squirrel jumper in Chelmsford Outfit yesterday :D didn't realise it was a TS number! it is lovely in the flesh!

I saw a lovely jumper in DP while I was in there, it had dachshunds on it. Not what I'd call subtle but it was quite quirky and the fabric felt really nice on my skin. Hmmmm might get it as I think I have a voucher somewhere!

Thanks Karma, feel slightly better after a pork pie :rotfl:and now scary meetings are over (which weren't actually too bad).

Mr S has taken the afternoon off though which I am rather jealous about. Just 2 and a half hours to go though.

I was born in Chelmsford and am the original Essex Girl - Shhh! I'm now in disguise. :rotfl:
But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?
  • haha, I live in Colchester and work in Billericay - there is a retail park just on the edge of Chelmsford that's on the way home and often gets a visit on a bad day as it's open til 8pm :rotfl:

I'm not from Essex but have adopted it as my home. I love it here, and the fact that I like white and sparkly things and am a bit of a petrolhead, well seem to fit in well :rotfl: (not so keen on pink/fluffy/bad fake tan but there we are!)

I lived in Chelmsford for a few months when I first moved here with my ex hubs but Colchester was cheaper and we clicked with the place so that's where we ended up :)

North and South Essex are so different they are practically different planets! :rotfl:

and yes squizz, that's the very jumper! :j

That is indeed, a fantastic jumper :)

Oh dear, this is predictable, another lovely weekend, another cr*ppy Monday. Weekend was gardeny (Saturday), meal out (Saturday), houseworky (Sunday), lying on the lawn studying (Sunday), flutey (both days).. that's about it really but very enjoyable.

This week - badminton tonight so probably not much else, essay Tuesday and Wednesday (away at a meeting on Weds so not in the office at all, hooray), flute lesson Thursday (:T and a little bit ). Want to finish off job application too - nearly done but my letter has strayed just onto two pages so needs to be restrained!

Edit - oh yeah, still no pay from second job...

True, I've managed to find a compromise between font size and getting everything in, I think.

Apparently second job woman may be away on holiday now so *bleep* knows when I'll hear anything. I officially handed back to other person today but still got another three weeks to claim for, plus a week of cover next month. Might be some more work later but not counting on it.

Meeting on Wednesday has just been cancelled so stuck in the office all week, wah!

  • Bah to cancelled meetings, hope the second job money arrives soon, sooooooooooooooooo annoying.

Excellent news on font size reduction and extra information being there :) good luck!
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:

Thanks Pippi! Badminton was good last night - I seem to be getting better at running about :D Fairly lazy evening after that.

Just realised my mobile contract is up so need to see if I can get a good deal. Would rather keep my existing phone, although every time I do that, they seem to break down about three weeks into the new contract!
