Nokia technical question

Sorry if this the wrong place to put this.
I have a Nokia 26oo Classic.Quite a basic phone and quite adequate for my needs.
My problem is that it only rings 3 times before going to voice mail.(Not enough time to get it out of my bag,let alone find a safe place to stop if I'm driving!).
I've looked all through the hand book to see if this can be changed, but can't find anything relevant.
If there is nothing to do I'll manage, but I can't help wondering if I've missed it because I don't understand the jargon.
So if anyone can understand the arcane language of tech and can help me,I would be really grateful.:)

Call your network, they are the onese who can extend the time till it goes to voicemail.0 -
Yes, its a network feature but there is a gsm service code you can type in to instruct the network how long to wait before diverting the call to voicemail. The maximum being 30 seconds. For example on O2, you would type as if dialling a phone number:
**61*901*11*30# and then press the send/call key.0
