Sky+ Multiroom help needed!!!

In our household we currently have sky+hd box downstairs and also have multiroom with a standard sky box upstairs, however I am wishing to get a sky+ box installed in my room but I am a bit wary of the cost (£199). Is there any way of getting round the cost (i.e maybe call for a replacement box but just take the box myself) or maybe try and deal with their customer rentention dept???

Doubt it,you've had one subsidised box already so doubt you'd get a second Sky+.Best bet would be to buy one from E-Bay for a few quid & some CATV cable to run from the dish to your room. The is 4 ports on the LNB & only three are in use.
If you book a service call, any box is replaced like for like & the old one has to be returned for refurbishment.0
