IIRC the Tesco site prefers Windows Explorer.
Yes, Windows Explorer is a great browser. :T

OP - the Tesco homepage passes the W3C validator perfectly, and runs fine in both IE and Firefox on my PC. It doesn't have any Flash, which is the usual culprit for crashes on Safari for macs. Do you have the same problem when you use other browsers?

  • My macbook does the same, Never have the problem with any other site.

I have a apple mac computer which works well except when I go onto
Tesco's site. I then get the little round coloured ball which appears on the mac and the only way I can get rid of it is to Force Quit from Safari (Hope this makes sense)

Can anyone please offer any advice as to why this should happen and how I can rectify it?

    Thanks

I'm assuming even sweaty turtle neck wearing fanboy sheep need groceries at some point, provided steve jobs lets them. iTescos is a couple of years away and steve jobs needs to work out how hes going to sue tescos out of business before he can announce it.
  • Safari only seems to freeze with the Tesco Direct site. Reported the fault to them and said I would just shop at Argos instead, seems the simplest fix.
