Avoid this ebayer....

Just thought I'd share this with you. I purchased an item via ebay. Paid straight after the auction ended on the 3rd October. Item was due to be sent insured and with a next day courier service. I didn't receive it - so emailed the seller to advise. I did not hear back and so tonight sent another email requesting a refund of the monies paid. I was initially told to 'chill out' and threatended that if I did have a refund he'd hit me with a NPBA. This is the next email I got from him...

totally_toys_ltd is the seller.

Dear Saddo

What are you going to report me for. This is a £4.04 sale, do you think I am going to rip you off for it. GET A LIFE!!. As soon as I have new funds in my PP account I am going to refund you and file an NPBA. I am also going to give you a big Negative.

I really hate !!!!!! like you"

Nice! I have reported him to ebay - but you may like to avoid him as his customer service leaves a little to be desired!

PS - I've blocked him on my listings!!!

  • Thanks for the heads up, but could you tell me what does NPBA mean as when I buy stuff on ebay there is not NPBA anyway on the page. :) thanks

Something to do with a non paying bidder I Would imagine.
  • I have been looking though his ebay account history and it looks like he has done it before.

Having read through his feedback (neg, neutral and withdrawn) I must say there is no way i would have dealt with him, despite the overall rating.

I think contacting him on the 15th, for something you won on the 3rd has given him ample time to send this item out.

Sounds like he's waiting for it to "come in stock" and CBA to tell you.
Poor show really. And as a seller that big fat neg will do him more harm than it will you.

Follow up comms: "next day del, yet heard nothing after 12 days. Seller abusive"
It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.

Personally I would pretent to be nice and tell him you will accept a mutual cancellation. If he falls for it then refuse it and neg him. Other than negging you back there is nothing he can do. He has to pay the eBay fees and cant do an NPBA.

And on the neg leave him something like 'THIS SELLERS SELLS DANGEROUS SUBSTANDARD TOYS - DONT RISK YOUR KIDS !!!'

and then a follow up of *** SEE toolhaus.org/cgi-bin/negs?User=totally_toys_ltd&Dirn=Received+by&Many=ON ***

As looking at his feedback he is particular nasty - negging people for leaving him neutrals, etc.

    Total: 287 Negative or Neutral
