    Hi everyone,
Just a quick question for anybody who placed an order for quite a few of the alcohol sets and had them delivered to the store or home. I think my order for the Evans glitch last week which I was one of the few lucky ones that managed to escape the 'cancellation' dreaded e-mails and was delivered (I only ordered 2 things between 2 separate orders) last Wednesday gave me a buzz and when I saw this one I went a little mad (probably thought it wouldn't be honoured) and I ordered 14 sets of a mixture of baileys, vodka and wine sets!! I don't even drink and I am surprised to find that they will all have a home in family and friends christmas presents this year but because my husband keeps moaning at me about the 'clutter' I ordered them them to be delivered to the store and hope to get some of them hidden (or homed at friends or families houses) before he gets home. I don't drive and mainly get the bus back from town but have my sister on stanby for a lift and wondered how big these parcels might be as I will have to carry them on my own to her car which may be about a 5 to 10 minute walk!! Will it be too much for me in one journey? Do they come in massive boxes? Sorry for the questions but I don't want to drop them and don't know how I'm going to get them home!!
    Thanks in advance.

Hi, if you've got some big bags i would think you could get 3 or 4 of the wine ones in there, i got the sparkling wine ones and while they are bulky, they are quite light.

I got 6 and have nowhere to put them :D On top of the wardrobe at the mo.

Has anyone elsa managed to get the

Blossom hill® white zinfandel for £1.92 each i put two in my basket but it showing £15.95 to pay.

Unfortunately they've caught the glitch now and are just half price. When the lot of us got them they were £4.80 + 60% off and there was free delivery.

I know I shouldn't but I had to giggle when you said hubby was getting annoyed with all the clutter you ordered. Same here!! It's a nightmare but I actually try to collect from store where possible so he doesn't moan and then sneak it into the house whilst he's not there. The boot of my car is already full of presents which he hasn't noticed yet and nowhere to put them :rotfl:

The wine and baileys sets are still in the big box they came in too :p

  • Collected all 4 of my orders last night. Had read the posts about the size of the boxes so got my hubby to lend a hand. I'm really pleased with the alcohol stocking fillers, think my friends and family will love them, and I loved the bargain prices. I had leaflets in each of the boxes offering £5 off £25 spend instore and online but I tried the code WK8GIFT online last night and it wasn't working. Printed info says code valid 17th October to 17th Novembe but NOT AVAILABLE IN CONJUNCTION WITH ANY OTHER OFFERS OR DISCOUNTS. Think they have these spectaculars most weekends leading up to Christmas so will keep looking to see if they have any other glitches.:j

The Home Delivery courier tried to deliver again yesterday when I was at work. Anyone know how to get hold of Home Delivery Network by phone or email? The number of the card is only automated. The only other option they give is to collect from their depot which is 45 miles away. So much for a bargain!!!

Hi, try putting it in 'say no to 0870' website. it should come up with your local depots telephone number.

    Thanks

Thanks so much to the OP for this - both my orders arrived, paid a total of £22.18 for the lot, should have been £51! Christmas is certainly going to be a bit easier this year thanks to MSE :)

Where did you go in store to collect your order? And did the store really call you when it was ready?

I got an email saying my glitchy 85p order was sent to store even though the order doesn't exist online, so I'm hoping it actually shows up!
