got my wine stocking fillers today, the boxes are much bigger than I thought they would be!0

Wish I could see mine! As its alcohol it had to be delivered to my home address. Now the courier keeps trying to deliver it while I'm at work as it requires a signature. Website and telephone system won't allow me to do anything other than choose a Monday to Friday date - I'm never going to get my order at this rate!0

Ordered two of the throws, same colourway. Arrived this afternoon, but one considerably thicker than the other; no probs to me, but wanted to warn others. If it's cheap, I'm cheerful!0

Hi everyone,
Just a quick question for anybody who placed an order for quite a few of the alcohol sets and had them delivered to the store or home. I think my order for the Evans glitch last week which I was one of the few lucky ones that managed to escape the 'cancellation' dreaded e-mails and was delivered (I only ordered 2 things between 2 separate orders) last Wednesday gave me a buzz and when I saw this one I went a little mad (probably thought it wouldn't be honoured) and I ordered 14 sets of a mixture of baileys, vodka and wine sets!! I don't even drink and I am surprised to find that they will all have a home in family and friends christmas presents this year but because my husband keeps moaning at me about the 'clutter' I ordered them them to be delivered to the store and hope to get some of them hidden (or homed at friends or families houses) before he gets home. I don't drive and mainly get the bus back from town but have my sister on stanby for a lift and wondered how big these parcels might be as I will have to carry them on my own to her car which may be about a 5 to 10 minute walk!! Will it be too much for me in one journey? Do they come in massive boxes? Sorry for the questions but I don't want to drop them and don't know how I'm going to get them home!!
Thanks in advance.0 -

I got 3 alcohol sets in a box and would have struggled to carry two boxes at the most.LBM Aug 10  [STRIKE]15,995.86 [/STRIKE]:eek:12,750.49

I got mine delivered today - 3 of the alcohol sets. They came in a huge box and I would not have been able to carry two of them!! Good Luck!0

You might want to make friends with someone who owns a van.
I only ordered 3 and the box they came in is massive. I would struggle with 2 of those boxes on a bus (and I'm 6'5!)
You might be able to ask for help in the store and put all the items in one or two boxes, remove all the packaging from one box because there's quite a bit of that.0 -
