had loads of trouble with pixmania years ago when i bought a digital camera. Owed me about £15 that they had taken from my cc without permission. Never got it back and never dealt with them again.
If you google for reviews you will find a lot of dissatisfied customers out there. There used to be a web site just for that.

Today, Pixmania have refunded me the cost of the washer/dryer and delivery charge.

If they had been a bit more helpful from the start and actually answered my emails then I guess this post would never have appeared.

Whilst waiting for the refund, I ordered the same machine from appliancedeals (free delivery) and it came on Sunday morning as promised.

They texted and called me on Saturday to confirm the actual time and then the driver called 10 mins before they arrived.

    Excellent service from appliancedeals.co.uk

  • Came on here to warn people about ordering from PIxmania - turns out i'm not the only one...

I'm not going to bore you with my exact details, but suffice to say that when I order £600 worth of equipment and pay a premium for UPS delivery, i don't expect the actual timeframe of delivery to be nearer 4 days with no comeback for any compensation at all...

Never, ever again. If you want computing equipment - go to scan.co.uk. I will be.
