BBC One HD - freesat

Simulcast of BBC One programmes in HD began tonight - if you have a freesat HD receiver you may have to retune.

It's on channel 108, BBC HD is now on channel 109.

    hi, do you know if this applies to freeview hd too or is it just freesat hd? my freeview hd is still showing the old bbc hd channel rather than bbc1 hd

    Don't know we don't have a freeview HD box - retune and see!

    If you are receiving BBC HD via Freeview HD then you will certainly receive BBC ONE HD as well.

    Your TV / set-top box should have auto-retuned when the channel became available on Tuesday and put BBC ONE HD on Channel 50, and moved BBC HD to Channel 54.

    However, it's possible that auto-retune has been turned off on your receiver or it just doesn't do it for some reason. Therefore do a full digital rescan via your receivers menu and you should get BBC One HD.
