    A variation will not be backdated, only applied from the date you requested it
  • Ignore my last posts the lady has just phoned me back and apologised for giving me "duff" info (direct quote) so what Kelloggs initially said is right!! So sorry for posting the wrong info!! Bloody crap Csa you would think they would know what there talking about i dont even know why im surprised to be honest!
  • Hi bdt1 I requested a variation in May and several times since then but they never sent me the forms so when i eventully get this form hopefully next week can I apply the variation from May? Thanks

    Yes they should apply the variation from May, but I suspect this may not be the case, if they give you any hassle on this one I would get ahold of your DP File, it should hold the proof that you asked for the variation originally in May.

    Also, just my opinion, but I wouldn't wait for anything from the CSA (the variation/departure forms you are talking about), I would put it in writing that you wish to formally request a variation on the assessment, on the grounds of x,y,z. Send this recorded delivery and keep Royal Mail arcode and print off from your Pc as proof they received it.

    Interim Mainteance Assessment is an emergency figure that CSA give when they have no clue on what the NRP earns and is ALWAYS SET high TO encourage the NRP to comply with correct details.

    That might have changed recently, but was definitely the case on CSA1 rules
