Phoned O2 to say I was going to leave. They offered broadband for £5 (unlimited usage) for 12 months. Decided to stay:j

Push and touch £2.50. Thats the best they offer.
Edit: Didn't see you are commited now.Was this post useful to you? Feel free to click the thanks button--¬ :beer:0 -
Sounds excellent - £5 per month or £5 discount per month (likewise £2.50 discount or £2.50 a month ... though I suppose I know the answer as £2.50 a month discount isn't as good as £5 per month!)?
Many thanks

What I meant was-- I used to pay £2.50 only. So, £7.50 discount! Was this post useful to you? Feel free to click the thanks button--¬ :beer:0 -
£2.50 discount on broadband is pretty standard on O2 after 12m-you just have to ask. You don't have to say you're leaving either. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Do you have to move to one of their new packages though (I'm currently on the £7.50 unlimited package)?

Please elaborate.
If you are extending, should not be a problem. Should not be transferring to new deal but please listen carefully and ask them to clarify/ REPEAT till you hear what you want to hear.

be VERY careful m8.i was paying £7.50/month for unlimited broadband
and they offered to add homephone £12.50/month making the total
£20/month
they changed my package and therefore i lost the £7.50 discount
no matter what phone calls i make i have not got any satisfaction
and i think the least i will have to pay is £25.50/month
after being promissed a few times that i would only pay £20/month
my advice ---keep the broadband at £7.50/month
thats what i wished i had done
my last three bills have been £17+ £39+ and £29+
and i hardly use my phone.

Spoke to Retentions Department today. I've renewed for another year under existing product for 6 months free and 6months at £7.50/month (so long as I top up mobile phone twice in last six months).0
