Just a really crappy day at work followed by an evening all by myself in a cold house with no money and i just feel like crying
Basically the shop i work in has recently changed ownership and all the staff still have their jobs just a different uniforma dn name above the door but today has just been horrid from start to fiinish and i feel like noone else there cares. I'm on crap money and feel like i let myself and my husband down by not being fit to do the job i'm trained for and having to do this instead. Just feel really low, unappreciated and horrible.
I'm slowly working my way through your diary though! You're fab HWG0 -
Not at all im just a jo bloggs trying to clear my debt asap.
Can you not start looking for something else, is there a job you would like to do ? When you spend so much time at work you should be happy, your not letting anyone down you have a job you bring in a wage.
Get the heating on if only for an hour consider it a treat is your hubby out tonight ?
I also have no money so its a weekend in for me hoping to get xmas cards written its one of those jobs i hate so using my time wisely for a change.
When im really fed up and it does happen on this DF journey i try to lose myself in a good book coffee and chocolate (or soft biscuit depending on how skint we are) tucked up in bed.MARCH 2016 DEBT £25750/ £25035

Yeah he's gone to visit a friend for the weekend, So i'm on my own with the cats. I don't do Christmas cards, but i donate some money to charity each Christmas instead and then let people know which charity. I do one card for my friend who lives down south but the rest of my friends and family live close by and i se throughout the holidays (i'm really very lucky) so i don't do cards for them.
It's not that i don't like my job bu i just feel like everyone wants a piece of me all the time. I was there today from 7am - 5.30pm and had two tills breakdown on grand opening day, the regional manager in, and had to give a telling off to 5 different members of staff. It just leaves me feeling like what's the point. I try really hard to be happy and polite and nice and then it all gets undone by some sill 18 year old who only works Saturdays from 10-4 (mummy and daddy pay for everything so they only do one shift a week) by them treating customers like crap. Then i'm, the one who has to deal with the angry customer oh and to top it off my regional manager, at my request last time he visited, told me...'you will be getting that payrise we spoke about...all managers of your level are getting it...it's going to be 2%' I did a quick calculation and then left the office nearly in tears while smiling and saying 'oh i wonder what i'll spend that extra £13 a month on?' What an insult. I am mentally not really fit to do anything that requires me to be too stressed as i had a breakdown and had to leave my last job which was horrible. Sad really, two degrees and i stack shelves for a living.
Don't worry about me it's probably hormonal, trying for a baby at the mo and thought to myself that we'd cracked it this time, but this morning the answer came and it was no.
Right. Plan. Coffee. Meal plan. Shopping list. Cry a bit more. Make hot water bottle. Bed0 -

Oh you're not too far from me i'm Derbyshire based. Weird isn't it, i could pop into Sheffield on a day out and stand behind you in a queue and never know it! No work tomorrow so am planning on etting the weeks meals sorted, i need to do some cooking to put in the freezer so that i can have things ready when i get in from work late. But other than that nothing special. Don't get me wrong some of my staff are wonderful but some of them i wonder what planet they are on. At 16 i was working every evening (in the same shop i'm in now) every weekend, i did overtime at 5 minutes notice, i was at college full time, i paid my own rent, gas, electric, water and i don't understnad wy some of these staff, mostly the teens and early 20's are so reluctant to do a good job. There's no work ethic, they don't seem worried about the sack if they don't perform well, one girl works 2 3 hour shift a week and she can't even get to work on time, and i'ts not even an early shift! You see this is how i get, i expect everyone to care as much as i do about that shop and they just don't.0

Thanks HWG been up for a couple of hours, but as i get up at 5 on work days getting up at 7 is a lovely lie in. I'm feeling much better today. Got the washing up done, washing on, cleaned out the cats litter, fed them, fed me and put a chilli into the slow cooker for tonights tea. I think i'm going to have to go out and buy some food though. The cupboards are looking a bit bare. I only have £8.50 in my purse though so i'm going to have a look at mysuper.... and see where's go thte best deal. Bit limited though as i have to go somewhere i can walk to so it'll have to be mr s or mr t i think.
I'm still working my way through your diary, up to page 59 now!0 -
I know what you mean im always up early . If you want some ideas of what to do with the food you do have put a list on the oldstyle board i bet someone over there will make the food go twice as far.
Why not have a wander to both of them see what you can pick up reduced.
Sorry about the diary i do ramble on a bit well actually quite alot but once i have written it down it seems to make things clearer in my own mindMARCH 2016 DEBT £25750/ £25035

Don't apologise for the diary it's wonderful. My plan re shopping is to do a freezer audit first, as there's just me and hubby ialways end up putting one or two prtions of things away when i've done tea so i think we probably just need fresh stuff. I'm going to finish reading your diary, then make a list, then i'm going to head into town because the shops aren't even open yet, and i can do both mr t an s in one trip as they are both in the town centre. Then i'm coming home, sort out the baked potatoes to go with the chilli and maybe bake something to put in the lunch boxes for this week, even if it's just fruit buns. Will pop back later to update on progress x0
