Please Help! Seller is sabotaging my auctions!

Oh my god!
Just had an email from the highest bidder on my auction to tell me that another seller (selling pretty much the same thing as me) has contacted her (hes probably contacted everyone who's bidded on it) to say that MY item is not what I say it is (this is complete BS !)
I'm fuming, that this guy is pulling such dirty tricks. I've already sent him an email (a rude and offensive email - stupid, but I was so angry I couldn't think straight) but I doubt it will have any effect - he'll probably message me back some insults.
I want to report him to ebay (in the email I said thats what Im going to do) however Ive scoured ebays 'help/contact us' pages and can only see where to report listing violations etc. What/where can I report this as?
Any help would be incredibly appreciated.

Just a word of warning my friend had a similar thing happen and actually sent what most people regarded as a stongly worded but non offensive email to the other seller, next thing she knows she starts getting bombarded by loads of emails that all have cautions on openig them as they could contain a virus and they were coming from 7 different emails as far as she could work out, she reported the orignal seller that was the problem to ebay and they really did nothing, then she got a load of non paying bidders, she eventually had to change what she sold and open a new Ebay Id to shake off all the abuse, and all thsi because she sent an email back to a seller that was trying to cause her problems! Just be careful as some people are nasty and obviously have nasty friends that they can rope in as well.0

If someone stoops to this there are probably a host of things they are upto, checck them for shill bidding, check there auctions for any breach of rules etc.

Thanks so much for all the advice - I've used the auction interference link to report them (Hope something comes of it)
I've just had a reponse to my email. Exactly what I expected! Just realised as well that he does now have my email address (In my haste to vent at him, I must have ticked/unticked (whichever it is!) that box that says 'hide my email address') oh dear.
I've replied apologising for my slightly offensive first message, and said I don't want a slanging match etc - I just want him to leave my auctions alone.
Ooh just as I was writing that last paragraph, he sent me a reply.
He's saying sorry!!!!!!!!!????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Won't do it again.
Oh now I'm confused! Have I done the right thing in reporting him? He's not been a member that long (April 06) and has 34 feedback so not really the oldest eBay hand. As in, could be unaware that what he's done is really not on. Argh.Wins for 2009: Nada, Zip, Zilch

You have done exactly the right thing by reporting him, he knows he is doing wrong, you dont need to be experienced to know that sabotaging another persons auction is wrong.
He is probably doing the same thing to other sellers as well, people like this need to be stopped.
I would keep a copy of all the E mails and let E-Bay sort him out.0 -
well...stop writing to him....just report him...0

oohh i've had similar happen to me today too, someone bidding on one of my items which ends tonight contacted me to ask to have their bid removed as another ebay member has contacted them with a list of where they can get the item cheaper. Well luckily i talked the bidder round and they are now reporting the other member for me and i have also reported them with the interference thingy. I hate poeple like that, they obviously have no life or very little of one if all they can do is scour ebay to find things that have a cheaper price elsewhereMy first ever Ebay Challenge. So far after fees etc for 2007 - £635.72 :T0
