So cross with Orange

Have had Orange broadband for about 3 years with no real probs until the 4th Sept when it stopped working. Numerous phonecalls, 2 new routers and 4 engineer visits later and they finally get it sorted on the 29th Oct, nearly 2 months later. I have been offered 2 "free" months broadband as compensation, I stupidly thought this would be the 2 months refunded that we didn't have any broadband plus 2 free months. I was mistaken.
If I send my phone bills in they have very kindly offered to refund nearly £15 worth of phone calls this has cost me to get them to fix it. I have had to put up with a very rude technical support person who is in charge of my case, no one else is allowed to discuss anything with me and I have had to put up with him leaving me waiting on the line with long silences, not calling when he has said he will and he has accused me of lying, he also thinks that if he talks really slowly then I will suddenly agree with him.:mad:
Don't know what I want anyone to say, just wanted a bit of a rant. Sorry if I've put this in the wrong place.
Thanks for reading

So why did you wait for 2 months? A week in without resolution and I'd have asked for my MAC.
You're presumably OOC, and you are with the worst rated ISP in the UK, so move. They won't get any better, as Orange have effectively abandoned their LLU broadband business now.

Is this a fact or your opinion. I have just posted my experience with them and I have been with them for 10 years. I was kinda thinking my recent experience is bad luck.

As i said I am spending getting on for £200 per month with them and I can;t get them to recognise that.
  • I have Orange for my family mobiles and I find them great- I had them for broadband and telephone for a few weeks and swiftly moved away (mis-sold contract and wasn't held to term)

They are absoloutely useless at BB and should either bring the helpless desk back to the UK (thus making it a help desk) or close the BB side down completely
    baldly going on...

Or you can look at any consumer survey (recent ones by Computer Shopper, Which), and invariably Orange are at or near the bottom, fighting it out with AOL and BT.
You won't find many compliments about Orange on MSE either.
