The Walking Dead

I have just seen the first episode of The Walking Dead on AMC and it is fantastic. It is showing in the UK on FX on Friday night and it looks like The Walking Dead will do for Zombies what True Blood has done for vampires.
I've read the graphic novels and was interested to see what the tv show would turn out like since the books are so violent and gory and I have to say the show didn't disapoint and even though it is all in daylight there are still plenty of creepy moments and the make up is terrefic. Great direction from Frank Darabont of the Shawshank redemption fame and Andrew Lincoln was superb as Rick.
This will be a real must see for the next 12 weeks and I've been tipped off that the next episode is a real gorefest.

There is also a strong rumour of a season 2 to start filming next year although AMC deny signing up to it yet.0 -
I really enjoyed it - I'm looking forward to the next episode
