It is okay, a friend of mine has one. But to be honest to get the best of both worlds try and get hold of the K800i if its on contract and a 512mb card to go with it they are only about £20. Then you've got a cybershot camera which takes awesome pics, it out does the camera i bought 3 years ago and you can load plenty of music onto it as well. Thats just my opinion thought.0

I know someone who has it & seems very happy with it - try the three website & quidco before you buy in store. I think you can also do a recommend a friend, but that is less than quidco by far IIRC. The K800i is a better featured phone IMHO, it's just too brick like for some.Certain OTT members have caused me to add this disclaimer: all advice given is free of charge & as such should be taken to be IIRC (as I don't spend hours researching all answers  )!0

I have the W850i, I think it's a great phone. The Walkman player is why I got it - easy to use, easy enough to embiggen [just buy a bigger memory stick], and having a 2mp camera and light tacked on is just a bonus.
However, if you're wanting top-notch pics from your phone the K800i is the one to go for. It apparently plays music too.
I'd also look over places like onestopphoneshop, e2save and other internet-only retailers before buying from 3's website or a store. You could save a whole load.0 -
Thanks guys - you are brill...
I have never had a SE before, mainly because of that little knob thing in the middle of the handset - I think it looks a bit naff ! always had a Nokia - but they seem to be boring these days...
Still confused over contracts and phones !!!!! its doing my head in today and my OH. .... :beer:0 -
All I can say is that I tried a W810i ( and sent it back ) , then tried the K800i (and didn't).
IMHO the k800i is STILL the best out there - stylish brushed appearance in charcoal and chrome, 3.2 meg camera, upgradable memory, mp3, great browser, easy to use, tried and tested, reliable - and the list goes on.
GET THE K800i or you'll regret it forever ( well until the next ace iconic phone comes along ) ...0 -
The only thing about the K800i that concerns me are the number of 'clearance/refurbs' already available - its not been available that long, yet the leading retailers all have these returned/refurbd/repaired etc etc models being sold.
Should I be worried?0 -
I have the W850i on 3 and I LOVE it. So far network coverage has been great and no problems with the phone, although I'm not too happy with life of battery - but that could be because there is always someone playing on it lol Camera is good with excellent outdoor shots, light/flash is certainly a bonus for indoors/night and the Walkman is brilliant, with a 1Gb card should never get bored with the music. Earphones seem to be permanently glued to my ears, although they are not the best and make you sound funny when singing along (mind you the kids tell me I sound funny anyway:rolleyes: Hope that helps you make your choice, but at the end of the time everybody has different wants from their phone
