thanks to you all , i couldnt get back on earlier , as i was teaching my daughter about percentages !
the test is in 2 weeks , so i just want her to be aware of the type of stuff she may be asked , and to have some kind of plan on how to do the test , i think if she failed the 11+ because a question was not clear to her , or asked in an unfamilliar way that would be a shame .
i have got a few resources from a google search , and i am just going to see how she does with them
by the way we are living in france and i would like her to take the 11+ in case it doesnt work out for us heremy favourite food is spare ribs0 -

This website has a good forum (well it does for our area anyway), It's split into different areas as the exams can be different depending on where you live.

You have to tutor them because every one else does. In an ideal world no one would be tutored, but they are, so you have to! I know from bitter experience.0

Tell her what the test is for? Why she is doing it? Just do her best. What will happen as in where the test will be held so she knows what to expect. Also from personal experience my Mum never said you failed the 11+ she said you passed for secondary school:-)0

Try to ensure she has a good night's sleep the night before (or preferably every night up to the exams) and eats well too, especially a good breakfast the day of any tests.
