N Power standard tariff discount
I phoned Npower to switch from the standard dual fuel tariff to the online 20. I was told by the helpfull salesperson I would be eligible for £100 discount for remaining on the standard tarrif for a whole year if I didnt switch before 18th jan 11 (date I joined this year). This is on top of the dual fuel discount of £100. Anyone else heard of this?
If thats true Im actually better off being on their standard tariff to the tune of £40 a year.
Useage now predicted £725
Uswitch switching to online 20 = Save £160
Stick as I am = £200 saving
Doesnt make sense to me, unless theres massive price hikes on the way....

It is something they have been offering new customers most of this year, as well as standard £105 refund after 12 direct debit payments made to npower, 1st year get an additional £100, this will not occur Jan 2012 tho0
