But you didn't did you? If we hadn't left and been on our travels we would never have met Miche, Mr B, Steve and Andy, Vardy. Satisfaction is not the achievement of what we want it is the realisation of what we have. We are full circle now. Older, wiser, content and safe. I wish it hadn't ended the way it did though.

Dunno dont feel maudlin at all. Just at peace. I used to love this song. It helped me many, many years ago get over a bad time. I am playing it.

It is very sad, SW, I agree but things rarely end the way we expect but it is indeed full circle - and yes, we have learned a lot about other people and about ourselves and have come out stronger and with very good friendships

No maudlin, but thoughtful, yes. Time to reflect is a good thing, to look back and view things from a different perspective than the one at the time - but also, to file that knowledge away as experience, and move on with the future - looking forward, always forward hun

I don't think I have ever read East of Eden Kit, what is it about?

The moral of the book is that we have a choice. Everyone has a choice- a Hebrew word - Timshel, it is never too late.
