Evening SSA - to the snow and ice
Best tip for car boots is find one that starts at 10 am or lunch-timeSeriously, find out where the one's are near you and visit them before hand - ask a few stall holders what time they have to get there, where the best pitches are, how much the pitch fee is - and look around and check prices at a few stalls for videos, DVD's, CD's, Books, anything you are thinking of selling - so you get an idea of what you might charge
When you decide to do a car boot, get yourself organised before hand - you can price everything up if you want, or just leave it for people to ask the price - either works as well as the other to be honest - take someone with you, if only to help you keep an eye on your gear, especially if you need to go to the loo  Take a flask and sandwiches with you - nothing worse than using all your profit buying burgers and drinks
Personally, I would not use a house clearance guy - they really give you very little for your stuff - they are the ones who really make good money out of this racket - buying cheap in bulk, so they can sell at good profitsMr 3Dogs 3-7-12
