Tixy lovely firework display. I wonder how pet owners are coping it must be difficult. My doggie hated firework night. I used to wrap him in a blanket and give him a cuddly toy and a treat. Are you having a good day?Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

Hiya everyone - I had a little lie in this morning and have already apologised to Steve about his missing breakfast and explained that I didn't feel he would still want his breakfast after 12 noon
Anyway, I dropped brother off at hospital at 2.30 pm and popped round the corner to Mr M's for some essential shopping (melon & yoghurts for me, soup, mooler-rices & milk shakes for Mam, and milk for sister) and then went back round to the hospital to see Mam for 45 mins. she was sitting up in her chair, dressed today instead of nightdress, so she looked a lot better. Brother had fed her yoghurt and her probiotic drink, and she had drank a whole cup of cool water with a straw. I poured out some strawberry milkshake for her and she loved it. Mam told us that she had been given a plate of 'some mashed potato and something' and she had eaten just a little, twisting her face as she said it.
I saw the doctor who confirmed that we would be told when she was to be transferred, and that the home had been chosen as the care provided there fully met her personal needs. He foresaw her staying at that home.
So brother just cooked salmon steak and salad which was lovely, while I told my sister what had happened today. I am going down a little early to pick her up for hospital tonight, so brother in law can fix the near side headlight which has gone off - just change a bulb, simple job
I'll get back on here about 8.30 or 9 pm tonight.
Aureol - so sorry about your engagement ring - I was about to say what Tixy said, to check around the washer and washing basket, and where you took clothes off and sorted the washing. What else was washed at the same time? Perhaps it has got tangled with them.
Right I'm off now - so see you latersMr 3Dogs 3-7-12
