eek i dont know. it may have gone out with the water but i doubt it. oh no was it valuable? I hope not.

it is my engagement ring. Have been up until 2am looking for it. My fingers are quite small, but it was not in the filter of the washing machine. Am just going to check a few more places and then am going to have to call a plumber. Money I can't afford to spend.

Do you know the feeling when you realise that you have changed as a person? I have changed. I am not scared anymore. I am also considering giving up my tutoring. I am not resting which is what i promised my doctor i would do. I must put my health first. I need to think about it.

Well done SW  :j that is brilliant news!

I've found a plumber who can come out today, so hopefully he can find it. Typically my house is at it's worst state!

Just sat and cried my eyes out, my DH went to a lot of trouble to get me this ring, walking all over london and east london until he found the perfect one! I can't believe I was so stupid as to not check the pockets before putting it in the wash.

I lost my engagement ring last night, and thought it was in washing machine, just paid £30 to plumber to have a look for me. He was going to charge £50 but as he didn't find it and I am so devastated, he has only charged £30.

Oh and for those that ever realise their ring or phone or precious item is in the washing machine, stop the wash, just switch off the machine, call a plumber and he can drain and rescue for you. :( good advice too late for me.

We think if it is in washing machine, it is stuck in pump and I have to destroy it to find out, but wm belongs to LL who I am still waiting for a reply from about something else, he will need to buy me a new wm.
