    Thanks guys,

But how do you stop loving somebody who still loves you but just goes back to her ex for convenience.

Can you say it is real love if convenience comes first? And what comes to your question the answer is: by starting to love yourself.

  • Thanks for all the comments guys, it really helps to know I have some good friends on here. I have just finished reading "Hector and the search for happiness" in my lunch break. It was fantastic and made me smile lots.

    Update on Mam:

Brother went down this morning and she was sound asleep - so much so that they could not give her the liquid paracetamol or antibiotics, but she did have her nebuliser. I got there at 12, and she was the same, sleeping peacefully. When a carer came in with some ice cream mixed with special cream, she managed to get her to eat a few spoonfuls before she fell asleep again. Then, when nurse came she managed to get her awake enough to take her antibiotics and painkillers, and then put her on the nebuliser

She is not on the fluid drip today, as her tummy where it was connected to was saturated and becoming red, so they took it off for 24 hours, and then will fix it back into a different part of her body, probably her thigh

We left about 1 pm and went shopping, and my sister went just afterwards, to find Mam still sleeping. I am off there now to see how she is and bring my sister home later

Hey 3dogs i hope the visit goes well. Your mother is resting which is good i think as she should be recovering her strength the fact they are administering the nebuliser should mean she is resting by choice rather than sleeping as she is unable to breathe. I do hope she is better and that you are feeling a bit better too. You are putting on a brave face but we know how traumatic this is and are all thinking of you.

Dear Frit glad you are nearly finishing the book. I am on chapter 6 as i am supposed to saviour it and i do. It totally rocks. Lots of Phd guys at work keep on approaching me asking me what i think of the book as everyone is reading it at the moment. I am so excited i am only on chapter 5 ish and it makes us appreciate the things we enjoy rather than the inconsequential things we focus on when we are down. I am just as guilty of that as you. You are amazing dude, remember that ok.

Angel a week off, you lucky thing. Any plans? I bet she will go walking and i for one will be so envious.

Marru i hope the house move stuff is calming down and you are able to do some prep for your exam. Well done on actually having the time to post. I hope the rest of the week goes well for you.

Most libraries can order it in from bigger libraries but it will cost you a few pounds - £2 last time i remember- for an interlibrary loan. It is a book that helps us to focus on the important things that we forget whilst we are running round treadmills keeping up with other people who are trying to keep up with other people. I am really affected by this book, a kind of panacea to all the illogical worries i have as it has made me realise how fortunate i actually am and i am only on chapter 5!!

Evening everyone. 3Dogs, I don't know what to say, probably better for email than on here anyway, lots of insensitive souls about but you know I'm thinking of you. Hope Mr 3Dogs is ok too?

I managed to reserve Hesters Happiness at the library, lucky ducky that I am but it worries me when Kit says the brainy folk are reading it. Been up since 5.30 this morning doing my work. It's getting harder n harder to do.. eeeek.

Have you heard from Steve and Andy today, they're very quiet today.
