Hi guys, hope people are well.
3dogs - hope you find mam in better health tomorrow, UTIs certainly do seem to affect people with dementia just as you have described and I know with my grandmother it always seems like she has taken a huge drop down with her alzheimers but she does improve as the antibiotics work, hope the same is the case for mam, and at the very least she is more settled and calm.
Also hope that the care improves, hopefully the fact that the family are there so much and demanding answers means they will pay that bit more attention (it'd be nice to think they would anyway but here in the real world.....).
Take care all, good night.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -

Evening Mr & Mrs 3Dogs, Aureol, Tixy & SW ( & Steve if you are still around) & Frits....& everyone.
Just been to Tesco & got 3 for 1 offer on 6packs of Fanta/7up...£2.85 for 3 packs!! Wow!! ...am I a `moneysaver`at last ?......finally?:oMoney_Fritter wrote: »I am ok today, although one of my friends texted me before and her mum has just died. I felt so sad, she is such a lovely person. Then I realised that I was being selfish and my problems are nothing compared to that. So I am going to move on and enjoy my life and take each day as it comes.
