Hello everyone - off out soon to pick my sister up to visit Mam (brother is there at the moment) so will report in later (about 7 pm'ish)

It's a dull windy day here in the North East - cold Bbrrrrrr!!

Oh Aureol thanks for the other link to Quidco christmas competition - as I am not doing my daily clicks at the moment, I would have missed that one - I didn't read your post properly last night and have only just checked it out - and entered todays comp (Thorntons :j)

Update on Mam:

:j Mam was good when we went, and, earlier, my brother was there when she ate mashed-up scrambled eggs and tinned tomatoes - every bit of it. Plus she drank a couple of glasses of orange squash and two cups of tea (all unthickened). Later, they came round with her Meds, liquid paracetamol and preventer inhaler, and gave her the nebuliser. They hadn't put her in her chair as they were talking about last night, as the message had not been passed on, but she had been given a shower and had her hair washed - the first time for over 4 weeks!! She looked a lot better for it, and it must have made her feel better too. We have organised the rota for tomorrow with my sister going down in morning and then going to work for lunch time, my brother going in the afternoon, and I will go down about the same time as today till about 6 or 6.30 pm

Just had my dinner which brother cooked while I rang Mr 3Dogs - a lovely bit of steak :T

I had a good check through the freebies, grabbits and food shopping bargains threads last night and made a note of a few bargains, so I will go shopping either tomorrow or Friday
