            My letter said i under paid by £500. The total earnings under PAYE stated on the letter are incorrect. It is about 5k higher than it should be. I am going to ring them to see if they will revaluate.£4000 a year challenge member

Same thing happened hubby for 08/09. We wrote off along with the necessary evidence. They sent out a revised P800 for 09/10 and a cheque (they had carried the tax owed in 08/09 forward to 09/10). So 09/10 is now OK, but they haven't issued a new P800 for 08/09 - they just wrote a wee letter saying that they confirmed the correct amount of tax had been paid for 08/09. So we're going to have to write off again demanding the updated 08/09 P800 to see that they now have the correct earnings on there...
