Hello again.
New Stockton 8 inset .[we did order 7 but then changed it for an 8] arrived Friday and has now been fitted and tried last night, LOVE IT.! Although I was a tad hot as it was about 12 degrees outside when we lit it up.! Just a quick question for you stove experts, is it more economical to burn a mixture of logs and coals or just logs.?
If we want it to 'simmer' at night should we use logs during the evening then load on a few coals at night and turn the airwash down very low.?
Many thanks as usual
Sue~;)
