URGENT advice needed: laptop charger replacement

Hi, I stupidly left my laptop charger in the UK (I live in Denmark) and I NEED to get a replacement one for the short term. I have a Toshiba Satellite U-300 model (it's four and a bit years old). My question is: can I buy a 'universal' charger, or will that mess up the laptop? I've found a supplier, which seems to sell…

Dear lovely helpful people!
I found one with a supply that varies when you plug in each tip (NO idea how, it is a mysterious and brilliant piece of kit) and IT WORKS!
