Was thinking of getting this but think i will hold off for a while as the reviews so far are seriously underwhelming.

If anyone in Hereford - sainsbury have got loads of PS3 version in - still have to spend 30.00 on groceries but still worth it.

Tesco bewell street - never had the PS3 format in - but still got loads of Xbox versions.

I am so glad i did not go in at midnight. Went in 7 o clock tonight - no fuss no queues and loads of games left.

Well ours was selling alcohol, and that was pretty much all everyone was buying to make the £30 minimum spend. I did wonder before I went down there but it was fine. Our shop normally sells alcohol until 11pm.

DH is happy with the game anyway, he's not sure if he likes it as much as MW2 but hasn't had a chance to play on it much apart from a bit last night, sure he will be on it as soon as he gets back from work!

oh well, my original plan was to buy alcohol but then i thought maybe that wouldnt be possible as you cant buy it after 11 but maybe im wrong,

sainburys is expensive though and we dont need any shopping at the moment.
on the second point i was just having blind faith that stores would decide to compete like last year. i was also having faith in morrisons after getting such a good price last year. i considered going to asda at midnight last night but was put off. i phoned them at 10.45pm and got told i should get down there straight away if i wanted to get a copy. so the idea of a massive queue put me off and also when i asked what they were going to charge he said they would not know until they start selling the game.

the reasson why i think this year everyone has tie in deals is so they dont lose as much money as last year, just my thought

Just back from Asda, traded in Fifa 11 and got Black Ops for only £8.97. Any new game that you want to trade in is getting a good price, and Black Ops is only £37 -if you have recently bought a game that you dont like is a good idea to trade it in at Asda and you should get a decent price for it. Other shops which are offering trade in deals have a small list of titles that they will accept, as far as I know there are no restrictions at Asda. EA sports who make Fifa have included a one-use only password for online gaming - for this reason I didnt think I'd be able to trade in/sell off Fifa so am very pleased. Bought it for boyfriend last month and he hates it - he traded in other games and got Pro Evo instead which he says is much better.

same with the new medal of honor game, i cant see many games made by ea bing popular as who will buy a pre owned game then find out you have to spend more money to get a code

PC version now available from Amazon for £29.97
It may even drop lower the same way that MW2 did last year.
I bought MW2 just before Christmas last year and got it for £24!!

use a price check site like this but remember zavvi / the hut have 10% code through walkers crisps, Game have £5 off £40 etc - so you need to see if they become cheaper with another retailer when applying codes.

gamestracker.com is another site you can use - best to check both if you can as sometimes different deals show
