I bought a Mesh computer a few years ago, I didn't have any issues with the order and not had any problems with it. I'm perfectly happy with it, but then again maybe I'm just lucky that I've never had to rely on their support

Got my PC and so far all good.

To follow on from my posts above. I phoned Mesh and got the same story for the third time - its being built but failed, starting again (4 weeks of this apparently) That was the Thursday, I got a phone call on Friday to ask if I still wanted it as it was about to be shipped, of course I did otherwise I wouldn't have waited so long. It arrived on Monday and so far has worked very well. Silent running, I haven't tested the speed but all the bits are as listed on the invoice so looks good.

To summarise, possibly awful customer service, they might have been telling the truth but ... If they could smarten up the customer service then they wouldn't get such a bad online press.

If you are waiting for a delivery, ignore the online account information update. Mine was shipped almost a week ago but it still says "Production started, System Build in process" If they could get that sorted, they could save an awful lot of staff time with people phoning in.

According to IT press sources today, Mesh Computers are now in adminstration and have been bought by PC Peripherals. Customers with outstanding orders are advised to contact their credit card company for refunds, or the administrators if payment was not by credit card. Details here. And more here.

Mesh's website is still operating, however.

    Be aware!

CUSTOMER SERVICE is AWFUL but they are happy they can actually answer your question now but claim NO idea they where about to go under.
**** WARNING THE WEBSITE IS STILL TRADING AND NO NOTE OF THE PROBLEM IS SHOWING **** DO NOT USE THEM **** THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN *****

I bought from Mesh 2-3 years ago, there was a problem with the hard drive with immediate effect. Their support team were dreadful, but I sent it back. It fixed short term, but the hard drive broke within 2 weeks of it being sent back, and they'd ripped the sticker on the back that broke the warranty so I was screwed. I'm not going near them again myself!
Are you sure it was your drive that had its sticker ripped off by Mesh? There's nothing user-serviceable in the components of a hard drive, so no point even trying to service it. My guess is that Mesh ripped off the sticker because they didn't want you to realise that they were returning a different drive to the one you had sent in. The drive you got back was probably a another faulty one returned by a different customer!
