Huh a family friend highly recommends them?
Ach well I can recommend Apple! :rotfl::exclamatiTo the internet.. I need to complain about something!0 -
My last 2 PCs have been from Mesh and I can't fault them tbh - stuck with them because of good bang-for-buck. I have heard bad things about them from a customer service point of view, but I've never had to experience that myself - after ordering, that's always been my last contact with them and never had a problem with the PCs.0

I have a 5 year old mesh pc and a three year old mesh laptop which have both been fault free and were purchased at a great price for the spec.
This year I purchased a mesh laptop and it has developed a fault.
The customer service aspect of Mesh is appalling and to date I have made 7 phone calls , e-mailed twice , registered on their help forum and I have got nowhere and I am not sure where to go next.
I think for my own sanity I will have it repaired by some one else that I can trust and pay for it rather than bash my virtual head on Mesh's stonewall.0 -
Chalk another one up for someone who didn't have any problems with their Mesh experience! The only time i had to phone them they solved the issue inside 5 minutes - i guess sometimes you're just lucky!Retired member - fed up with the general tone of the place.0

Argh!! Mesh computers
I have been waiting for an off the shelf pc (with network adaptor and larger monitor than spec'd) since 5th December, which was to be an Xmas present.
Apparently it was not delivered as they are out of stock of monitors. I asked for a substitute monitor but alas they do not have any monitors at all!!! (very unlikely). I told them to send me the base unit, "yes sir you'll have it tomorrow", I didn't receive it.
I've sent them quite a few emails now all unanswered, tried ringing them but got fed up with being on hold. The only success in contact I have had with them is via Live Chat. Oh I did receive a phone call but I was still in bed after my night shift and since then they have failed to give me a call back, despite leaving a message on the answer phone at the end of the number that called.
I've had just about enough and want to cancel my order and get my money back. I paid with American Express can anyone advise me how to make a claim?
I'd also like to make a complaint to a third party which actually stands for something. Some sort of company watchdog.
DON'T BUY FROM MESH - is certainly my advice!0 -
I used to buy from Evesham. They went bust so I tried Mesh. Over the past decade I have had 3 desktop computers from Mesh. They have all developed faults after a few months. One had a faulty power supply when it arrived. That had to be sent back. One had the wrong processor and sound card when it arrived. They sent someone out from a contractor to correct that. The last one went faulty several times within the warranty period. It went faulty again outside of the warranty period and I took it to a local computer dealer. They were surprised at the poor quality of the power supply that was at fault. I now buy from a local dealer.
My advice: go to a local dealer to you. Even if a dealer has a return to base warranty it still takes a long time to get it collected and returned, and you have to be at home.
Mesh have an awful telephone customer service. It is a premium rate line and they will keep you waiting for an hour or so. They have an online forum:
http://www.meshcomputersownersclub.com/forum/mesh-computers-owners-club-customer-care-technical-support/
Davey is very helpful on that and it is the only sensible way of getting customer service from Mesh.
I don't know how anyone could recommend Mesh. They are very unsatisfactory.
Why did I keep buying from them? Their website is good and they have a good 'build your own' system on the website. I suppose I thought they would get better and that maybe I had been unlucky at first. After several cases of 'bad luck' I got wise.0 -
I'm currently waiting for a mesh computer, so far not so good, unless you believe their 'excuses' Okay, really fantastic prices and the only company that seemed to offer the system I was after. Ordered in February, contacted early March, where is it? Ah! problem with the intel I7 chip, not expected till mid April. I'm a trusting person so stuck with them all the way to April late April, phoned (NB. Always use saynoto0870.com) so no premium rate call to worry about. Spoke to young lady, "Your machine has been built and is in test, will be with you midweek". Next week another call, spoke to Mr Patel, "No, your machine isn't ready, no chips are yet with us so hasn't even been started", Tried again this week and spoke to Mr O'Grady "Your machine has been finished and is being tested, will be with you early next week" I said "But that was what I was told over a week ago, Mr Patel refuted it! "He gave you incorrect information, your machine failed in testing and had to be rebuilt".
Hmm.. who to believe? Well, I'll hang on till next week, no machine I'll cancel and try another supplier. Then I suppose its a case of getting my money back! I'll post again is machine arrives or not.0 -
Its a week later and I phoned mesh to ask where the computer was. Spoke to Mr O'Grady again, he clearly had forgotten that he had given me the same scripted reply the previous week. There was a problem between my motherboard and cpu and it had to be re-assembled. So that makes it 4 weeks worth of assembly testing and and problems. That really doesn't make sense! Alternatively and the more likley reason is that is a standard response that keeps the punter hanging on. I've written requesting a refund today, I suppose that is the start of another saga?0

Never bought anything from them, but was at one point looking at gaming rigs they had on offer. My impression was the build quality appeared quite robust, but the prices were quite high. In the end I went with DinoPC.0

I bought from Mesh 2-3 years ago, there was a problem with the hard drive with immediate effect. Their support team were dreadful, but I sent it back. It fixed short term, but the hard drive broke within 2 weeks of it being sent back, and they'd ripped the sticker on the back that broke the warranty so I was screwed. I'm not going near them again myself!0
