Try the usual: run Ccleaner, run a virus scan, download Malwarebytes, update then run it. Restore to a previous date. If still got problems give us some more information to work with. What is your operating system?0

And please delete your duplicate post (which I just replied to).
If your PC shop wants £150 for 'minor repairs' then you need to find another supplier-should cost around £40-50 for an inspection and tune up.No free lunch, and no free laptop

Download, install, update and run a Quick Scan with Malwarebytes' AntiMalware. When complete, choose 'Remove Selected' if there is anything to remove and Reboot your computer.
After restart, open the program again and go to 'Logs'. Double click on the log produced for today and post the contents here.
Next, download, install and run HijackThis Version 2.0.4 and use the Quick Start guide to enable you to produce a log for posting here too.0 -

It's MalwareBytes. No it won't. But you need to disable AVG before running it.
AVG may well be the cause of your problems, as it's a useless AV program these days. Remove it and use Avira, Avast, or MSE-all free.No free lunch, and no free laptop
