    I only ask because watching a comparison video on Which.com, it suggested that macs do not. I quote - "it doesn't have the security concerns such as viruses that windows laptops do"

    That doesn't say they don't get them though. They do. What they are getting at is that most of the viruses out there are to attack PCs as there are more of them in use then macs.

    I use a Mac have no Virus protection but am careful where I point it at or download !!!!!!....

    This si the problem with PC users - A lot dont know where they are clicking or where they are visiting which results in lots of problems.

    I've been Money Tipped!
    It is easier to infect a Mac with a virus than it is a PC. The reason the virus writers don't target Macs is because they are so small in number, and virus writers want to get noticed by infecting millions of PC's rather than thousands of Macs.

    That is the only reason.

    iAntivirus (for Mac) is free anyway from PC Tools if you are concerned.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
