Also think about fully comp insurance and protect the no claims when allowed to (might be 4+ years) you need to check.0

I think you guys are being a bit optimistic expecting to receive £50 for getting shot of a burnt out shell.
I would think a £50 charge would be more like it. In fact, I am surprised the Council haven't done it already.0 -

If someone did it to my car I think a massacre might follow shortly after...It's one thing knowing these days and another something being done about it!If you know then bloody well sue them! In civil court its the balance of probabilities, not beyond reasonable doubt as in criminal proceedings, i.e. were the police to do anything.
We have an idea from somebody that saw them in the area and were already up to trouble. After some enquiries from a friend they 'may' have done it, but they won't say for certain. And getting him (and two friends) isn't easy as.
a. they are only 15/16 (rules out court)
b. Local yobs who have already gotten away with god knows what
c. If we go after them they will only come back and burn my car if not the house.I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0 -

I get a mental image of the Only Fools and Horses episode where a Riot stops, the hooligans part and DelBoy drives the Three Wheeler through like he has parted the Red Sea.
Have you considered moving lol
