Yep, IMO HTC Sense is so much better than Samsung Touchwiz UI. Also, HTC updates are usually very quick when a new OS is released (assuming you have a stock device) For example the Galaxy S doesn't have Froyo yet and Gingerbread is imminent.
Also, to follow up on some the of the comments about the Desire reboots. I've never had this problem, even when it's running quite hot, sounds like a bad batch.0
