Thanks for that, phew!! I can't imagine how you all must be feeling, I felt bad enough at the prospect I MIGHT have to break it to all my family. My thoughts are with you all and I'm hoping for a miracle for you. xx

My mum has been a Farepak agent for nearly 20 years and is blissfully unaware of the situation as she is on holiday in Hawaii and won't be home until Friday. I've decided not to tell her if she phones, as I know that she will not enjoy the rest of her holiday.QUOTE]

My mum's been caught up in a major earthquake in Hawaii. She phoned last night to say that she is fine and I didn't say anything about Farepak. She thinks that she's got it bad out there - just wait till she comes home

I feel devestated for everyone who has lost money (including myself), but the agents must really feel bad for all their customers, some of whom are relatives and close friends. I know that my mum will be absolutely gutted and angry

My thoughts go out to anyone who has been caught by this.

I myself am a Park Agent and as the previous posts have said I think this will put a lot of people off for next year, as I am going to save for all my family with the bank rather than with a company.

I hope some good news is received for you all. Fingers Crossed
