    Hi MCI,

It should all settle down soon. Once we've got the properties, we'll stagger entry to keep Colin occupied sufficiently. For a few months, tenancy disasters notwithstanding, we'll get back to normalisty before late May / June when the next lot of property hunting gets into full swing!

    Cheers,

    Billy

    Evening All,

Brief update before I go and try and fix the various bits and pieces that are wrong and out of date on my signature. The state of play is that we have now secured 3 properties, we have offers on two others being considered and we have a re-valuation to be conducted on the sixth. With the discounts we're getting, six is plenty doable now so we're stretching that wee bit further. First two should complete next Friday!

    Cheers,

    Billy

Billy, does that mean I might have a summer job to look forward to? My only concern is that I'm away the last week in june and the first week in July as I will be in sunny Florida again (we like our holidays).

    Hi L,

Sorry. I don't remember approving holidays at what will be the busiest time of the year for Doohnibor!! You can like your holidays all you want in the many months of the year when I don't need an expert buyer working alongside me on the acquisition trail. I'm fair though. You can go on holiday if and when we have the next five all lined up - just means we'll need to be on the ball in early June!

    Cheers,

    Billy

Hi Billy, glad its all going to plan. I can't believe the fast pace this is all going at though, its almost one house per week so far this year , perhaps you should up the target to 52!

Anyway best of luck for all of your projects in 2012 :D

    Morning newgirly,

That would only need a capital injection in 2012 of £1,040,000 or thereabouts!! I like the ambition but, until a winning lottery ticket floats my way, ten a year is plenty!

    Evening All,

I'm plenty glad that I'm following rule #1. In assuming nothing, I'm neither surprised or particularly bothered about one of the three houses we had secured dropping away and doing their damndest to screw a few thousand more out of us and another being valued at a ridiculous 22% below a home report done six months ago. My new hardball technique will either see us lose out on properties or get quality deals. Either way, we'll roll with whatever comes. So, down to 2 with three more still in the balance.

    Cheers,

    Billy
