If she reads, get her a Kindle or whichever e-reader you think she'd like.

    I'm 40 and I'd love a Kindle

(that's just in case DH is reading this without his specs on and feels flush around Christmas!:rotfl:)

What about a pair of UGG Boots - I would love it if my BF got me some for xmas. Just make sure you buy the real deal.

Why not book her an appointment with a personal shopper? loads of clothes shops do this now and its free, and give her a voucher for the shop so she can shop guilt free!! my friend and I are both 36 and we have done this and can reccomend debenhams and dorothy perkins.

If you are too far away from somewhere that does this then why not book her in at a hair salon for a wash, cut colour and blow dry? My hubby did this for me one year and i loved it!

the trouble with getting nice underwear and something that improves your wife's appearance is she might think you got her it because you think she needs it!!;)

An Ipod/Retro looking digital radio/ GHD hair straighteners/ Kindle (as suggested above)/ cute mini netbook
  • Give her a voucher for a hairdo or beauty treatment like a massage.

My favourite present is money as I am quite fussy as well that way I can get what I want and have a day out finding it!

The Estee Lauder Make up artist collection worth over £315, but £49 with a fragrance purchase.

If you buy from Debenhams, you can use the printable 15% off online, or £5 off instore voucher here.
