You're looking for something better I assume? Try some free open source ones or other freeware ones to see if they meet your needs.
I'd imagine all these free offers are really 'inticements' to buy the latest/pro versions of the software. I use some of them & am quite pleased with what they do for free.
Could be dubious - see this. You'd do a lot better with truly freeware antivirus like AVG Anti-Virus Free & Free avast! 4 Home Edition. Grizla01 wrote:https://www.thinkall.com/product_antivirus_detail.php

Do you mean the links or programs don't work? If it's the former they work fine for me.Ivan_Konstantinov wrote:thanks for the list, some progs need deleting as not working like Paragon CD-ROM Emulator 3,Paragon Drive Copy 8 Personal SE (2 progs i really needed!) and a warning that ashampoo spams the hell out of you:money:
Thanks for the warning about Ashampoo SPAM, but apparently it can be turned off.....
If people are still concerned about this, use one of these free disposable email providers. Gianonline wrote:Yeah, you will be signed up to various newsletters etc by default but if you log in to your account and untick the relevant boxes, that should stop the :spam:0 -
what, even if you unsubscribe from their emails? (seems strange as I always got the impression they were a fairly respectable company and should therefore honour any unsubscribe request)Ivan_Konstantinov wrote:and a warning that ashampoo spams the hell out of you
