well in true mse style i made my own grey nail polish by adding 1/4 of a pot of nail polish to 3/4 of a pot of jet black that i have (only use the black for halloween..cant see it lasting another year!)..and its come out a beautful shade of dark matt pewter..i love it..its worth trying shade mixing ladys..just DO NOT MIX..speed dry polishes.with each other and with none speed drys.ive done this once before and the chemical reactions made the bottle shatter! if you just want a one off you could just mix a little bit in the bottom of an old yogurt pot.
Of course this method applys to other things too..eyeshadows and lipsticks for example.

and one out to report a barry m nail polish in lime green..not sure why i bought this..went through an acids stage and they just dont suit me..thought id keep it for my toe nails but the brush is superglued into place not even hot water or pliers will move it so its gone to the great dustbin in the sky (good riddance really lol)

ooh another idea i thought of re lipsticks..the paler ones make nice creamy blusher ! dont forget to dig the ends out with a lipstick brush

    Evening all

Please count me in again this month - after a traumatic couple of days of not being able to contribute to this thread (I'd forgotten my user ID - don't ask!!!!!):mad::mad::mad::mad:

I've already got a UU - got rid of an old max factor mascara that I didn't get on with :A although I've also got an in - as I swapped it at the clinique counter for a sample of their new one - oops

Several things at the spluttering stage so I'm hoping to have a good month (I've also made a promise to myself to smother me in body lotion at least once a day as I could sell the damned stuff back to BS, Boots etc :o).

Lastly I'm stealing an idea from last months thread as I'm going to start putting a pound in my piggy bank for every UU I have - this hopefully will allow me to go wild in the January sales......2012!!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

one UU today - a tiny clinique exfoliator this morning. I was given it by a friend with a lot of other things as a thankyou for loaning her a dress.

WIB ??? definately - it was wonderful !!! Proper scratchy (in a nice way!) and really felt like it was doing nice things to my skin. Got a few to work through before I buy, though might try to sneak it into a Christmas list if I can....

morning ladys..i have a few questions...
this hair elastiser stuff someone mentioned a sample..where do i get it/
ditto someone mentioned grey nail polish..sounds fab..where from?
and lastly has anyone tried keratese hair products?
    many thanks xx

After a friend's recommendation I bought the Keratese Volumising shampoo last year and only used it a couple of times. It made my hair really lank and was greasy within a few hours of washing it. Given the cost I was wasn't happy.

I finally donated it to my cousin who was very pleased.

My conditioner is down to a splutter again, so in the interests of finally getting around to it I have the following conditioners in my stash

Tresmme Remoisturising 900ml - part used
    Aussie Miracle Moist 250ml
    Aussie Mega Instant 250ml
    Rachel McAdam Blonde Conditioner 75ml
Ginseng and Macadamia Conditioner 40ml (hotel sample, u/b date 11/10)
    Pantene Aqua Light Conditioner 75ml
    3x Anonymous test samples.
    2x James Brown Conditioners

In the interests of not wasting things I'll be using the Gingseng and Macadamia first with the matching shampoo, theres also a shower gel so I'll pop that in my bathroom bag too for when I finish my current body scrub (I reckon one or two more showers and I'll be done with that one).

But while I'm at it I've inventoried my shower gels and scrubs.

Gingseng and Macadamia Bath/Shower gel 75ml
Anonymous test sample 150ml Shower gel
Radox Shower Smoothies Tropical Tranquility 50ml
    Spa Body Wash 100ml
4x 50ml dove sample body wash
Body Shop White Musk Shower Gel 60ml
    Sanctuary Body Wash 75ml
Body Shop Sweet Lemon Body Scrub
