Does anyone think the Nails INc nail polish is good quality? Last time there was a mag freebie I was really disappointed. So any reviews? Before I buy a mag.

I quite like them - I have 3 now, 2 free with mags, and one free with diet coke! The two I already had I've used a fair bit - they don't chip much, have a nice finish, and a nice 'pure' colour IYKWIM? The colour comes out as you'd expect, and strong, you don't need lots of coats.

I would def buy nails inc if I actually needed to buy any polish at all :o:rotfl:
  • Day 2 and another UU for me (I won't be keeping this pace up!): a hotel miniature shampoo. I don't know why I get excited when there are freebies to be had in a hotel - how often are they any good?! I would have been better just using this for cleaning makeup brushes and hair brushes. I shall keep the bottle though as it is a useful size for decanting for short breaks away.
  • Had my first UU of the month this morning. Sanctuary body butter. WIBA? No. It was a nice enough product but a bit too "liquidy" for a body butter I thought. I also thought the smell was a little overpowering. I'm sure this would be a gorgeous product for people with 'normal' skin....but for someone like me who needs to smother myself in moisturisers - the smell is too strong.

I have a couple of spluttering cocoa butters (well actually they are probably UU but in true MSE fashion I'm trying to make them last just a little bit longer!) so I should have a couple more UU to report shortly!

I've also dug out a perfume gift set from last Christmas. So this morning I am wearing Amor Amor for the first time. I would never have chosen it for myself but actually I'm really loving it! It reminds me SO MUCH of an Imperial leather shower gel (think it's the jojoba milk & vitamin E one but might be wrong). Even my boyfriend noticed! Can't believe it's been sat unused in my cupboard!

Footymadgal - I know exactly what you mean about hotel freebies! I get so excited, take them all and then never get round to using them!!

  • 2 UU this morning in the shower -e xciting times!
The dregs of a Radox Shower Gel, and the dregs of a Boots Mens Shampoo & Shower Gel, just enough between the 2 bottles to have a nice wash this morning (i made sure the male smelling shower gel was used on my legs otherwise i'd be getting a few weird looks this morning :rotfl: )

Hopefully some make items will be UU this month as this is my problem area, back to using the eyeshadow pans everyday but I think the first UU will be a L*0real Perfect Match face powder which after discarding months back i'm really enjoying using!

Have a good day ladies xx
  • Some UU's to report from this morning!

Neal's Yard power berry moisturiser WIBA? no, it was a freebie with a magazine, i don't think it done anything at all for my face
    Sure Naturals deodorant 250ml
    Sure crystal deodorant 150ml
    Sanex invisible deodorant 150ml

Theres was only teeny amounts left in the deodorant cans, so i sprayed them all!! Could be classed as cheating, but thats 3 more items gone!!

I have tried the Keratese hair mask. Bloody expensive too, cost me about £25 for it!

Tbh, i didn't see much difference to a cheaper brand, yes it left my hair shiny and feeling more conditioned, but no more than it would if i had left normal conditioner on for 10 mins.
Not tried their other products though, as the mask really put me off.

a few others as well, i just picked out 2 at random.

Not sure about actual shops where you might get it though.

I've not tried Kerastase yet, other than in salons, but have been looking at them - I think I would like to try their shampoos, but not sure where to start!

I'm just the same, getting somewhat bored of my usual (Britney) perfume. I must say I've cut down on using it as much during the day and have stopped taking it out in my handbag at night because I go through it like there's no tomorrow! Not mse at all!

I did think about getting samples from Boots etc to get me through this penny stealing season but not much luck! One thing I found was buying samples for around 99p or £1.99 - I can get a few and decide which new scent I want without being pressured instore to spend £40 which is what usually happens to me!

Half Price Perfumes do this but Boots and Superdrug don't seem to. Just get a few things and pay once for postage, or get something that has free postage at the same time. My boss wears a Nina Ricci one which they have as a sample so I'm going to have a look what I can get for very cheap in December, and be really good this month!!!

I'm just waiting on these perfume oils - i'll let you know how i get on, they are much more MSE than buying samples of perfume IMO from previous oils I've had - apparently 30mls of perfume oil is the same as 1l of perfume from a shop  not sure how true that is but the one i had before was v long lasting and you could use it in baths, as massage oil (very fragrant lol) etc
