got home from dance class at 8.45 to find a hand written note from neighbour saying they had my parcel(DH said are they holding it to ramson?!)...no note trough door from delivery man and I was in all afternoon recovering from dentist.
anyway went to get it and after 2 rings on the bell the door was answered by the husband of the neighbour dressed in a long nightshirt looking like he had escaped from a Dickins book:eek::eek::eek:
the parcel was my box of soaps.....refused to tell DH what it was and hinted at Christmas so that shut him up:rotfl:

soaps are lovely but will last me forever:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:some will go as pressies as they are individually boxed, they even sent me 2 samples which I managed to put in the basket despite already having had samples:)

Tara if you send me your address I will pop the blue mascara in the post:)

Bronnie, I too would love to try the P&P Intense, and the eye cream too. Wonder if there's going to be a P&P OOTW? I haven't bought any OOTW yet so maybe this one will tempt me...

This week I believe according to my very reliable source (Grabbit board):rotfl:It's still going to cost £45 I think, there's meant to be a few full size products in it.

  • i also have the cetaphil bohemianrose9 i 'inherited' it :rotfl: from my mother who had been prescribed it for her acne roscea (spelt wrong I know!!) but had no difference - I find it to be much of a muchness though, and defintely long lasting...I have 4 bottles

UU for me, a Bliss sage and lemon (i think) body scrub WIBA not for the price of it, I think there are alternatives out there that do an equal job, or better for a lot less money! After I do use up all my scrubs then I will be trying to be MSE and use a loofa or body brush instead - does anyone else rate these? I have unopened ones in the stash :rotfl: but will be good and use the lotions and potions first as the brushes obviously have no use by/sell by date on them!

I think I'm coming down with the flu, got the tired, aching-ness but without the cold symptoms IYSWIM so in a way I'm happy about that - the little things eh? No hacking cough and runny nose and it's made my week. Had a day off yesterday but couldn't sleep, so back in work this morning with a hot water bottle snuggled into me...

Have a good day girls x

Well thank you very much rosemary54, I will PM you my address. If you would like something in return, send me yours xoxo

Went to Boots at lunchtime - sure enough, the P&P Intense set is £45 - the nice No7 lady even showed me one! She said that to buy all the products separately would cost almost £100. It looks very nice. You get a day cream, a night cream, a serum and a body serum. Plus the GWP of course! Not at all bothered by the vbody serum tbh, would have preferred an eye cream. Hmm! Wonder whether to get it, or wait till No7 does 3for2 and get the day, night and eye creams then? Someone on here said that they rate the day cream more highly than the serum, Bronnie maybe?

p.s. if spending £45, do I get two GWPs???

Humph! bronnie is sulking, since she spent £22.50 on 1 jar of P&P last night.....and already opened it. ****Whines. Why didn't I know about the OOTW??****

Actually though the 3 for 2 offer would prob be better for me too, don't really want the body cream and serum either except to resell on ebay!

Before I post my update, just read this article about naughty Rimmel, using lash inserts in a mascara advert without making that overly clear and also of using really small numbers in a sample of people, 5 I think the article says. Shame the companies feel they have to go to these lengths - their mascara is good, don't need stuff like this to advertise it.
    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-1332602/Georgia-May-Jagger-gets-lashed-Rimmel-mascara-commercial-banned-false-advertising.html

Resisted the QVC offer today - a Nails Inc set for about £30. Decided I only liked 2 colours, so will make a note of their names and get them separately. £30 - I mean that's a nice coat or a pair of boots. Honestly! I have to keep telling myself off for even considering buying all this "stuff". I remember once seeing a programme and this Danish house was minimalist - not quite my taste but I'd like the simpler life - and the guy said

...less space, less things, more life.

Think I will add that to my sig to inspire me to declutter and curb my toiletry addictions.

  • Roll on Friday when I can hot foot it to Boots for the PnP OOTW. In my defence, its going on the joint a/c card and DH will be giving it to me for xmas. Did the same last year, and works for me! I rate the serum as best product and night cream second.
Yesterday the main store here had photocopies of the offer on all the doors, but today they had all been ripped off, and inside there was a worried looking assistant trying to flog Ferns Box - which they have stacks of - not surprised IMHO its not interesting enough at the offer proce, let alone the full one. And I was only in there as a foundation I got had already been opened so had to change it (and I got 2 foundations and one powder refill on their make-up 3 4 2 offer) so saved nearly £6.
