No Buying Toiletries in November Challenge....

Use ups/give aways:
1 x Caudiele body lotion tube (used as hand cream) - WIBA no. Very watery.
Bit the bullet and gave 4 bits to a friend today, got sick of seeing 'em and not enjoying or using them:
2 x perfumes, fairly bland makes, nothing special to report
2 x nail polishes
Phew. That felt better. Friend was most appreciative.
Current temptations:
- Nivea soft. I have my Hero product of Body Shop oil free moisturiser but I am tempted to get some of this to use on my neck (you can never use enough on your neck/decellolete (sp) in my opinion!). So I think it's a justified temptation. Anyone know where it's on offer for the tube or tub?
Pampering:
Going to make a real effort to use body butter either Champneys or Body Shop (instead of falling into bed exhausted).Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

Is this the right one just noticed its on offer in Asda and Sainsburys and after all the positive reviews might get some to try as I often have problems with products stinging my eyes.
Yep that's the one I use. I'm like you, I couldn't even get on with the Clarins eye make up remover (a slight rash in fact). So this is bliss.
EH - that is the right one, yes?
This and Boots double faced cotton pads, heaven!Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

No UU more a NO NO! Crab n Eve goatsmilk body lotion, well, IMO its awful. Dries to smell like old ladies talc, yuk! However, as I am now putting lotion on my feet each morning before the socks, its been relegated to foot patrol LOL.
Trying to slather on the lotion n body butters each night now its cold, but DH came home ill from work Mon arvo, and had full blown flu within a few hours, have been looking after him since (and the dog), so barely get time to shower n brush teeth each day. Roll on weekend when I can sleep in and rest lots (did I mention the tonsillitis I got last week)?
Nearly out of day moisturiser, working thru some sachets Mum gave me, then I can go and purchase legally (as it were) Hurrah!2011
Still trying to reduce the toiletries mountain, now a hill........ :j

My UU's this month are so slow.... One UU P & P eye cream. Now onto EA Skin Simple eye cream.
Also had a particularly hellish meeting at work on Friday to tell me I am being redeployed (with the not so subtle underscore of "at least you still have a job"). It is a long story involving a new boss and attempted changes to my working remit, terms and conditions. My reaction to which was to go out the next day and splurge at a fancy hairdressers to get a cut and colour (1st one in 5 months). I ended up getting 10 inchs cut off my sholder length hair and I am now sporting a fab new crop. The only down side is my hairdresser said a normal shampoo bottle should last me 9 months. Very MSE but I have so many bottles to use.No buying toiletries Graduated May 2017Decluttered 2016 2469 items, 2017 1580 items :j2018 3060 itemsSealed Pot Challenge No 0380 -
I know this sounds ridiculous given the length of my list, but I really need to do a beauty shop!
:o:eek:
I miss my Touche Eclat - badly, I need conditioner, and shine shock serum, I need foot cream otherwise mine will turn into hooves...I could do with some hairspray too, my hair always goes flyaway in the wintertime. My Fave Perfect 10 dye is on special offer in Superdrug for £3.99 instead of £6.99 /7.99 so I might have to grab armfuls of those as well.
On a desert island or post apocalyptic end of the world scenario I'm sure I wouldn't give a fiddler's fig about any of these things, but in the life I'm currently living I neeeeeeed them!:D :rotfl:
Sorry chicks! Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0 -

Fiasco55, sorry to hear about your work situation, hope things improve for you.
My UU's this month are also slow but two to report this morning: Clairol Nice'n Easy ColourSeal Gloss for brunettes. WIBA? Yes, these are included in the Clairol hair dyes but it's a very good conditioner. I've also used up an Olive Body Cream. I bought this a few years ago in the Superdrug sale post Xmas. It was part of a gift set that I wanted just to get the handy wicker container it came with! I wasn't expecting much from the products it contained and wasn't looking forward to using this. However, I have to say it was a lot better than I expected although maybe it would have been better to use it in the summer as it's a light cream.0 -
Morning all, Some UU's to report, Lidl Iseree face cream, WIBA - nope used this up as hand cream as it was way to heavy for my face. Neals Yard Frankincense cream, also used up as hand cream at work. Boots No7 lip cream WIBA - it was moisturising but didnt last 24hours as it states, much prefer a BS lip butter! Nivea Calm deodrant, got another out of the stash (2 cans left).
Ins so far this month are two tubes of toothpaste and a pack of cotton wool pads from the pounshop! I must confess that I have also placed an order with Avon but some of it is for my daughters. I couldnt resist ordering the diamond glimmerstick and the diamond mascara - fancied a bit of sparkle for chrimbo!!
Almost forgot got rid of 15 items on Ebay so a couple of quid made and some room in the cupboard!0 -
Nothing to report, just come along to moan really. I'm feeling pretty ghastly today. Started to feel a bit meh yesterday after school run and by the time I'd got home at 4pm my eyes were burning. I went to bed for a bit and then had to get up to make tea as DD had brownies and then DH came home so I was able to hand him the reigns. Got in the bath and then crawled into bed. I did manage to get my face cream on though. I'm off to bed in a minute cause I'm starting my 5 nights tonight- gah!Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0
