No Buying Toiletries in November Challenge....

U/U: Simple facial cleansing gel. WIBA: yes, nice and foamy. Put on wet face, took off with hot flannel. Cheap and did the job.

U/U: Superdrug hair colour conditioner (came in the box of hair dye). Rubbish. Not nearly as good as the Nice and Easy ones I have still to work through.

Outs: four or five No 7 Nail Polish. Had gone thick, thinned them down, but still gloopy. Sticking with Rimmel 60 second. Nice colours and dry fast.

Another UU for me Alberto Balsam Tea Tree Tingle conditioner WIBIA? No i only bought it as it was on deal but it did nothing for my hair only gave me dandruff. I think i will use the shampoo for cleaning as i dont like either.

my new year resolution(nothing like forward planning!) is to ditch all/most of my make up already in use and open nice new editions as have sooooo much stuff in the cupboard and also no idea when some of my current make up was started so colud be well past sell by(the make up not me:rotfl:)also any colours that don;t work will get binned so lovely new make up basket in draw:)

Alfiecat what a rubbish month for you - sorry to hear about your bereavement and getting the flu at the same time must have really dragged you down.

Jacks that's a lovely thing that you guys did for your friend. I wish her all the luck in the world with whatever she wants to do from here, and you can assure her from me that however much of a disaster things seem like right now, in the long term I have always found that things hapen for a reason, and she will come out of it better off, or happier, or maybe both!

I am continueing with this challenge even though I don't post that often but I read all your posts. I now have £68 in my pot that I started when I joined this challenge back in January.

Today I did my first purchase for this month but the products are not for me but for the hampers that we are putting together for Christmas. The bargain for the day was buying a reduced set of 4 hand creams and 2 small soaps from L'Occiatane. Reduced from £20 to £10 and then using my £5 off voucher so only paid £5 in total. Also, bought Glamour for £2 to get the free nail varnish and in there I found a free voucher for a sample (1.5ml) of Benefits' new eau de toilette. I choose Garden of Good and Eva.

Also, I was well impressed with LE today. I rang to see if they are still selling their old facial sun cream that I loved. I bought their new replacement facial sun cream a couple of months ago and it doesn't agree with me at all. After telling the lady on the phone my comments she will send me a free return envelope for me to return the product and then a full refund will be organised. Well pleased, didn't expect that at all.

I have had a couple of UU's this month but sadly cannot remember any of them.

Good luck with this challenge particularly to those who are struggling with all Chrismas temptations around.

OK, I have to start with ins....a radox bubble bath...african savannah or something like that...to me it just looked and smells warm, I used some tonight. and three frizz ease bottles on a three for two. Also two tubs of moisturiser, a day and a night...L'oreal.

In use: since the never ending bar of soap I have got two on the go....one by the bathroom sink (lovely aromatherapy one from a hotel) which is lasting well and a clear one scented of cherry blossom. It smells lovely, and I fancied a change from the more stylish plain white bars, but I'm amazed at how much shorter time its lasting. A couple of days in it crumbled into pieces in my hand as I rubbed it onto a face cloth.....those stylish solid bars are a lot more durable.
Eeking out my scrub ATM....and a body butter they don't make anymore...And, feel especially virtuous because I didn't stock up on stuff I can only get in Italy last week when I was there nor make any duty free purchases. Not a single one. Not even a travel sized toothpaste. If it didn't fit in the ten items of fluid in my bag it didn't travel and it didn't get bought.

really feeling a bit fed up with my stash at the mo..i really really want to buy something..hey ho..will not give in will not gove in

eye make up remover, cleanser is the only excitement im allwoed as mine have almost gone..YAWN

i feel a mid week pamper session coming on..on the plus side ive put full make up on every day since starting the challenge and my 4.5 year old has been telling me im so preety and hes so proud of me because "your so beautiful mummy"..aww its little things like that that make you happy isnt it!

It's the cheaper of the two L'Oreal ones Noynoy - should cost about £2.69, so a bargain too. Also happens to smell really nice!

I'm back ladies, I have been doing so well the last few months and now have fallen off the wagon again thanks to the dastardly grabbit board! But I really have been an angel - I've been using up stuff faithfully and haven't bought much - and I have bought nada from the Body Shop in months! :T

Sorry for abandoning you all, I was just spending too much time on here to the detriment of other things, so went cold turkey for about 5 months. I missed you though.
