Hi we need a bit more help to help you ,
1 What said it had a worm - ? your antivrus (which is that)
2 What windows system have you got
3 Has the card been used in any other PC
4 This may help too Tips for giving MSE users more info on your suspected virus/trojan problems

    Download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware from http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/
Run the program then Click on the Update Tab and check for updates, to get the latest version , then select the scan tab and run a quick scan, let it fix what it finds , post the log here(Even if nothing is found)*.

    Reboot .

Now download HijackThis from here http://www.filehippo.com/download_hijackthis/ .
Run that with elevated rights, (shift key + right click run as administrator). Then post the log here*.

*Note for users not sure how to post the logs then
Each of the above programs should open their logs in Notepad so on the menu bar select "Edit+Select All" , then "Edit+Copy" , then post the logs here using CTRL+v (or right click Paste)

  • yeah i think it was my anti virus that said it. i have avg and malaware bites. the avg said i had it. wil do scan tomorrow and post results.

    thanks
  • Don't forget to UPDATE malwarebytes first and mmmmmm ditch AVG only my opinion though others might not disagree:D

    edit: Try free Avira/Avast/MSE

You wil get a lot more worms and viruses if you don't uninstall AVG and put on a decent AV as advised. Avira, MSE or Avast will do the job for free, or Kaspersky is available for £23 on Amazon (or free if you use Barclays online banking).
AVG free used to be good but is now not reliable.
