Fix curtain that I've pulled off the hooks

    Moam

There must be something in the air!!!

Went to close my bedroom curtain and pulled it off 3 brackets, realised I needed help to fix it so called dad then went to sort out the drying and the flaming cat managed to pull the rest of it off the wall.:mad::mad::mad:

Anyways washed the white runner thing which was disgusting and my curtains are also in the machine. Got to have some good come out of a disaster eh.

Also got two gammon shanks boiling on the hob to be cut up and frozen in portions later. Popped half my whoopsied quiche in the freezer and half in my tummy. Got my pots washed up and put away and popped some bits in the freezer that I won't use this weekend.

Now time to set my GodD's birthday MP3 player copying and then a another HHC i think and also some ironing.

The one thing I do want to say is Raphael I absolutely love that tattoo. I'd love to get one; unfortunately, I'm told it's contra-indicated with lupus. (Although one of these days I might just say s0d the lupus and go for it anyway;)).

Anyways - Mr LW is waiting for me to finish online, so I'd better sign off for now.:o

      :hello:Evening ladies!

I have been busy today, after a desperately slow start - I had another really bad night's sleep, and a banging headache for most of the morning.

I have only done the kitchen though, as DS2 is poorly - he had a cold the last few days, but his temperature soared last night, and he was burning up this morning. Paracetamol, plenty of fluids, and DVD's, and he's back in bed already. I'll check on him a couple of times overnight, and see how he is in the morning.

DD is at her boyfriend's as they are going up to Top Gear Live tomorrow - her Christmas present for him!

DS1 is in London at some gig. Triker - he's quite envious of Linkin Park!

I'm going to have a cup of tea, and then knit. I'm making very good progress with a lacy scarf for DD, and want to finish, so I can start a jumper for her.

OH has made great progress with DD's room - the laminate floor is laid, and the bed assembled. The mattress is being delivered tomorrow, and then he'll put together the wardrobe. I think the bedside chest of drawers and the bookshelf will have to wait for the following weekend. I think that merits at least a Level Five in there - if we had one!

Love and hugs, especially for toots, Lady Liberty and diva.

:wave:Evening all! Worked monday and tuesday, and have had sick relatives to see to, but have had a mad blitz of the house, as 12 hour shifts sat, sun and mon!
      All washing clean and dry!
      All beds stripped and re-made!
      Every room hoovered and dusted!
De-cluttered all old coats to charity shop, so coat rack now looking bare!
      Bathroom scrubbed top to bottom!
Kitchen surfaces and units and floor shining!
2 large batches of soup and one of chilli cooked, divided and frozen!
Bought new christmas tree, as the dear cat killed the old one climbing up it last year!
Nearly finished christmas gift shopping...oh my, what a relief, I hate shopping in December!
You are all inspiring me to keep on top of the mess, despite working these crazy shifts. Hope everyone is well, and not being deafened by fireworks too much!
      RIP Iain
