  • Good evening all,

I got my ironing finished whilst I watched River Cottage. I'll take it upstairs and put it away when I go up to bed - which won't be too long because I'm absolutely shattered. It seems to have been such a hectic day for some reason.

I'm going to make a drink and go to bed soon so I'll wish you all goodnight

    xx

I am forbidden from having one - by my children

Friend and I have decluttered a bottle of red (my DD is eating choc at her house with her DD, so fair swap ;) ).

Going to do some admin whilst I wait up for DD, then bed and book :)

They are rubbish live anyway.. and disgusting.. they were spitting into the crowd when we saw them. I wanted to get my mummy head on and go slap them!! Dirty barstewards!

Thanks for that, pigpen. Made me feel a bit better. I'll stick to listening to the CDs, then. DS1 didn't say anything about disgusting habits - maybe they've grown out of it.

Don't know why but I started at the end of the Fred and read it backwards, most odd!!! And a tad confusing, ho hum!

Have done very little today, crap night's sleep meant I have moped for most of the day! I did go out and buy a new ironing board cover for OH (he does all of the ironing) and a Crimbo pressie for my mum. I had 2 pairs of shoes this week so I've got 2 shoe boxes so i am wrapping them up and filling them with small pressies one for mum and one for dad so I'm keeping my eyes open everywhere I go!

Have done 1 thing from my list, must pull another out of my pot ready for tomorrow

apparently tomorrow I am tidying out the sideboard_pale_ great!!!

Mind you I picked out update diary yesterday and it took me all of 5 mins!!!

Okay am off to bed now, hugs spoons and sticks all round, special hugs for LL and Toots
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last

x_raphael_xx thats an amazing tattoo, i've never seen one like that. That looks like a lot of hours of inking! My favourite one on my mate is a lip imprint that was his (now ex!!) girlfriends lipstick mark from where she blotted her lipstick! Hes a tatooist and doesn't have much room left!!

Anyway i have had one of them days! A journey that should have been 50 minutes took an hour and a half there, 2 hours back with 4 hours intensive training in between! So tired anyway after a late night that i have managed to do 1xWM and make dinner. Must have a good blitz through tomorrow. Hugs to all.xx

    Hello flyladies,

Have done no flying today. Whoops. Though spent a lovely day out shopping with mum, sister and niece.
Spent £5 voucher in Debenhams on a beautiful Lamaze doll for my niece so I got it for £5 instead of £10 which was a fab saving.

Also popped into Lu$h for some bubble bars and the lovely lady gave me 2 free soap bars and a crushed bath bomb when I told her about my hospital operation. They often have freebies to give away but have never been given any before so was really touched. Plus one is a soap I love to use and am running low on!!

Feeling really exhausted today though and have a wierd ear ache. A nice relaxing evening for me then I can tackle the flying tomorrow. Oh, also got some slippers today so as soon as my cute pjs arrive I have all the bits I need for hospital.

Hellyboo - sorry to hear your struggling with little one. I have no advice to offer as I have a cat who came house trained tg.
    Raphael - nice tattoo hun
Mudbath - you take care hun. Pace yourself and don't push yourself to get things done.

    Hugs, Spoons and Cuddles

  • Hi all,

sorry to slide in so late - been Christmas shopping this evening as DH arrived home early, so could slope off to look for Santa things for DS. Also have ideas for the 3 worst ones - guys - about halfway there now.

Arrived home to news of a visitor staying over tomorrow & Saturday  why do guys not think of giving a bit of notice??

I'm wall to wall with shoeboxes & toy service & school fayre things - which are covering the office/guestroom. Hmm - I need a list!!

    Stack filled shoeboxes
Condense remaining fillings to one or two boxes
    Stack empty shoeboxes
Pack toy service things & put in boot of car
    Remove all empty storage things
    Make bed - towels!
    Clear a wardrobe space
Fix curtain that I've pulled off the hooks
Meal plan for visitor (?something & steamed veg as requested)
Shopping list for anything else I need to get
Put tonights Mr S bargains into freezer :j
Downstairs bathroom - make space in cupboard
Upstairs bathroom - scrub shower walls, deal with showerhead (think it needs vinegar onto it)
    Whizz hoover about
Tell DS about visitor - will have excited bouncing...

I'll have from 4ish to 8.30ish after work/school - should be OK. Now to finish another couple of shoeboxes...

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
