By 'decluttering' him from FB is not petty. I did this with all ex family too. One I don't want to see his new (but according to him not!) GF writing on the families walls and also i don't want them to see what we get up to without him. Its not bitter as i suspect like me you've been left to pick up a lot of the pieces he left behind. xxxxx

Anyway i digress! PM me if you want to vent!

Have managed to be a very naughty mummy and had a couple of glasses of the good stuff with my best friend! Bit early but sometimes its just necessary! My kitchen is sparkling as are bathrooms! Living room will be blitzed in a little while. The LO's will be in bed at 7 so will mop etc then.Tomorrow won't be doing much as out and then Thursday got some training. Going to iron later too while watching Kirsties Homemade Home. Hoping to declutter some money tomorrow on some pretty things to wear! This girl has got to get back in the game!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Thanks, I didn't mean it to all come out here :o.

I have made yummy thai curry but had to nip to the corner shop for coconut milk....and, ahem, maybe a bottle of Magners. So cheers :p.

Need to have a pamper tonight I think, declutter greasy hair and stubbly legs.

    Have:
    washed up
    done washing
    taken bag to charity shop
    done recycling
    1 hour ironing
    decluttered "Single Father" from iPlayer
    been to Mr Ms
    decluttered story to DS
    written in DS's Home/School book

plus bits of the list that I've done. It doesn't look so bad when I put it like that. :T

    Enjoy your evenings.

  • Waiting on DH to arrive home and then will cook dinner so in the meantime can I get the rest of these shoeboxes covered??

Question for those of you with infant school aged children - what sort of quick crafts would your children like to do at a Christmas event? I've run the craft room a few times but I'm lacking new ideas - things I've thought of are

Christmas placemats (card, decorate, then laminate)
    Bookmark
Christmas cards - always popular and easy to do different styles for different ages
Christmas cracker - one of those easy kit ones - decorate & fill?

or radically - help to make a huge joint picture in the hall?

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

MOAM do you have a budget? can you buy stuff in? there are some lovely gift ideas in the yellow moon catalogue like tree decorations that you colour with special pens etc. That's what they usually do at our Christmas Fair!
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last
  • Evening all *bend knees smilie* I cycled to and from work today, and got absolutely soaked on the way home. Felt much better for it, and took an excuse to light a fire and have a glass of red on a school night :j

Don;t know whether to :) or  at Kirstie's new series on C4 :o

I've got DS a pack of quick and easy hand puppets which seems quite nice. It's just a bit of felt with holes in to thread through and eyes to stick on really but it's a bit different. The gingerbread man looks cute.

I don't know how easy/cheap these are but I'm sure I've seen clear baubles that you can put your own picture in, that might be nice. Or any christmas tree decoration - fimo and glitter have been used to create a few when DS was at nursery. Or even card.
