Tuesday ~ Living room, Hallway and Porch!
Level One
Find the floor!! Even under the shoe and coat racks! Floor was never lost!!:p
Vacuum/Sweep/Mop Done by Mr LW
Level Two
Organise the CD's/DVD's/VHS tapes.. fling the ones that don't work and make sure they are in the correct boxes! Are there any that can be rehomed? All organised, in correct boxes, and filed alphabetically, apart from the CDs Mr LW has in the car (*note to self – retrieve my Damh the Bard CDs from the car.....)
Vacuum and wipe sofas Done
Clean curtain tracks so they run smoothly (furniture polish on them after wiping is wonderful!) Will get Mr LW to do the furniture polish thing at weekend (not safe for me to do on my own; risk of fall):o
Level Three
Sort coats and shoes, wash any that are in need and take dry clean ones to the cleaner if needed! All fine and dandy; shoes are in good repair and clean (Mr LW's job as I loathe cleaning shoes:eek: – I'd sooner scrub the loo!); coats all fine.
Dust and deweb Done
Wipe radiator and defluff behind (sock on a stick!!) Done (my trusty lambswool-onna-stick!!):p
Extras- Wipe lightbulbs and replace with eco-bulbs any dead ones Dusted as best I can do, along with “dust & deweb” job. No dead'uns.
- Gather up all the car documents and put them all in a safe place All done already
- Have a check to see if you are still with the cheapest supplier for your utilities.. if we can save a few quid over the winter on our fuel then we should! WIP – just awaiting reply re winter fuel allowance, now
- Check when insurance policies are up for renewal and make a note on the calendar to remind yourself, many companies now do not tell you when you are coming to the end of your term. Already programmed into my PDA
Dragons have all been lovingly dusted.;)
Today's list has made me realise, too, that the only music we have that I can stand to listen to while I'm here alone is all in the car for Mr LW to listen to on his journey to and from work. All 5 CDs! Got to be something amiss there......If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Since my last HHC I think, just maybe, I may have finished the vat! :jSaving up £25000/£3500 by Jan 1st 2012 by selling my clutter. Remember I'm doing it for Dad.
Textiles, languages, travel and a lovely home are not stupid things to want. You have immediate family's support.Appreciate what I've achieved so far. Other people's opinion of me is none of my business.0 -
I am getting rather fed up of companies taking the mickey.. Waiting for a delivery of a lovely mobile for my sisters girl, I ordered it for her meant to come today.. instead I get an email saying I wasn't in. I was in!
Rang them and turns out there is a bridge with roadworks on about 6miles away so they couldnt get thru. Rubbish my dad got thru it this morning and its got diversions anyway. They are now bringing it tomorrow. If they claim the same problem I am not going to be impressed as I have given them my number to call me if it is still closed and I will meet them at said bridge to collect it. Hmmph I wish they would just tell me the truth for a start I absoloutly detest lies.
Anyway posted my eBay sales so thats another thing crossed off my list.
Also got all of last months glossies from my mum so a nice pile of magazines including the likes of essentials etc to sort my way through.
Coffee I think.. and maybe I should pop some meditation music on lolGC 2011
